First eleven years in Peru.  Not Lima, but Chimbote, a small fishing village.  Lots of ceviche.  Then Mexico City for 2 years and 1 giant earthquake.  Northern Virginia for High School and English Language education, and later interior design.  To NYC for Fashion Institute of Technology.  Degree in textile/surface design.  7 years of product design with Hable Construction.  

Moved to Greenpoint, Brooklyn.  Marriage, baby boy, maternity leave, custom made felt ring pillows, baby girl, more felt creations.  Arthritic hands means goodbye sewing, hello painting, gouache and watercolors, Instagram likes, stationery line.

Collects stuff, including skeleton keys, milk glass, bisque dolls, bird nests, stationery, vintage photographs, sea shells and Polaroids.

Inspired by everyday beauty.  Haunted by having given away cassette tape collection.

Misses kids during school hours, husband during work hours, and Michael Jackson music and Chimbote seaside climate all hours.
